Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote attacking the flock of sheep.
In the background, the shepherds preparing their slings to stone don Quixote while Sancho gesticulates to stop him. The scene has been represented with a composition already used in London: Hodgkin, 1687. Poor drawing and engraving. |
