Commentary | Well-known "procession": the carter, don Quixote in a cage on an oxcart, two officers of the Holy Brotherhood on horseback escorting him and the priest and the barber.
Sancho could appear in this scene too, but he has not been included. Mueller uses the expressive possiblities of wood engraving with great skill and modernity, resolving the scene with a worth-noting and contemporary artistic sense. |
