Commentary | The illustration is accurate to Barret's adapted (and quite free) translation, representing a scene not in Cervantes' original text.
Don Quixote is torn from Rocinante by the captured gentlemen and pilgrims, who also try to bufett him, but Roque Guinart saves him. Good drawing style (quick and expressive sketching lines) and well-resolved figures. |
