Commentary | Sancho discovers some hanged bandits among the trees.
Excellent drawing and engraving; notice Sancho's expression, the moon light effects, the gloomy atmosphere...; the darkness of the illustration is very remarkable. Scene quite in keeping with Romanticism and Doré's taste. |
