Commentary | During Camacho's wedding, a group of shepherdesses (maidens) beging to dance; they are led by a couple (a venerable man and an ancient woman) and a bagpipe player.
The representation of the crowd that surround them is highly detailed. Drawing and engraving are excellent; notice the movements of the maidens, the variety of expressions... In the background, a castle with a Cupid is prepared for the next dance. |
