Commentary | Don Quixote (he should appear bound fast hand and foot) is abducted and "enchanted" by "ghosts of the castle" (don Fernando and his companions, don Luis' servants, the officers of the Brotherhood and the innkeeper, all disguised).
Doré is very original in the representation of these "ghosts". |
