Commentary | After the adventure of the Basque, defeated by don Quixote, Sancho asks him if he has already conquered his ínsula.
In the background, it still appears the carriage of the Basque ladies. Remarkable use of wood engraving to create effective black and white contrasts; notice the use of very fine lines. |
