Commentary | Don Quixote and Sancho knelt before three peasant girls on donkeys; Sancho has introduced one of them to don Quixote as the enchanted Dulcinea; after listening don Quixote's love words, the peasant girl shouts them to get out of the way.
Well-known scene and composition, resolved without great novelty. Good drawing and pleasant coloring; in keeping with an edition for children. |
