| Commentary | Well-known scene since Savery (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657); now, the composition is new.
In the background, don Quixote attacks the Knight of the Mirrors, who falls down towards the foreground. On the left, Tomé Cecial disguised as a squire with a fake big nose. On the right, Sancho climbing on a tree. Drawing, engraving and shading are excellent. |
