Commentary | From the whole episode, it has been chosen a non violent scene.
Don Quixote orders the penitents to release the lady (a sculpture of the Virgin Mary) that they have taken prisoner. Sancho tries to stop him. The group of the penitents with the sculpture has a strong, expressive and plastic character, but it is not accurate to Spanish processions. |
