Commentary | When Camacho and his companions discover the trick used by Basilio to marry Quiteria, they all draw their swords to take revenge; don Quixote's speech will calm them down.
Excellent illustration, with great variety of figures, gestures and expressions, and carefully-done composition and setting. |
Notes | 1 - Compare with Pahissa's illustration for Barcelona: Miguel Seguí, 1898.
2 - Influenced by Ricardo Balaca y Canseco's illustration for Barcelona: Montaner & Simón, 1880-83. |
