Commentary | Don Quixote stays still before a lion ready to fight against it, but the animal remains into its cage although the lionkeeper has opened it; Sancho and don Diego de Miranda observe the scene from a safe distance.
Well-known scene, drawn with quality, but without originality. Good and realistic drawing style imitating a 19th century xylography. |
