Commentary | When the barber sees don Quixote charging against him, he throws himself from his mule and runs away, leaving his barber basin (Mambrino's helmet).
In the background, Sancho witnessing the scene astonished. Well-known scene, resolved with little novelty; notice the "Spanish" figure of the barber. Good and realistic drawing style imitating a 19th century xylography. |
