Commentary | Well-known image of Sancho being blanketed at Juan Palomeque's inn (foreground), while don Quixote observes him from behind the inn wall unable to help his squire.
Sancho's figure, "flying", is quite remarkable and comical. The figures have been resolved as typical "Spanish" characters and the setting results more Italian than Spanish or Manchegan. Good drawing and coloring. |
