| Commentary | "Immediately Sancho laid hold of her without difficulty...".
Sancho catches the hare that, chased by a pair of greyhounds, had been taken by don Quixote as a bad omen about Dulcinea. Remarkable illustration with good figures and setting; interest in representing La Mancha light and lanscape. Benedito's drawing keeps the realistic/picturesque style used by José and Luis Jiménez Aranda for the first part. |
