Commentary | ".... and found that the combatants were but two,...".
During the night round in Barataria Island, governor Sancho, accompanied by his secretary, majordomo, soldiers and others, stops the duel between two men. Remarkable figures and well-resolved light and shadow effects. García Ramos’ drawing keeps the realistic/picturesque style used by José and Luis Jiménez Aranda for the first part. |
