The Duchess and the Duke, entering don Quixote's room, discovers him fighting with a cat while others run away through the window. Notice some accurate details, like the bells tied to a rope by the window or the lute that don Quixote was playing before this adventure. The expressions of the figures are forced. García Ramos’ drawing tries to keep the realistic/picturesque style used by José and Luis Jiménez Aranda for the first part; notice the setting, clothes.... |
