Very remarkable illustration; well-resolved scene placing a pair of candles behind the torn stocking, so the holes can be clearly seen. Worth nothing light and shadow contrasts. García Ramos’ drawing tries to keep the realistic/picturesque style used by José and Luis Jiménez Aranda for the first part; notice the setting. |
