Don Quixote, resting with Sancho and the bachelor's cousin, encounters a man with a mule carrying lances and halberds; the man promises don Quixote to tell him a story at the inn (braying mayors). Cabrera's drawing tries to keep the realistic/picturesque style used by José and Luis Jiménez Aranda for the first part. |
