| Commentary | ".... whereabout here is the palace of the peerless Princess Doña Dulcinea del Toboso?".
In El Toboso, don Quixote and Sancho encounter a labourer and don Quixote asks him where is Dulcinea's palace. Acceptable figures, althought with light disproportions (notice Sancho's donkey, Rocinante...). The image of the labourer is more remarkable. Alpériz's drawing keeps the realistic/picturesque style used by José and Luis Jiménez Aranda for the first part. Blurred setting to suggest a night scene. |
