The day before his departure, the captive (Ruy Pérez de Viedma) goes to Agi Morato's garden pretending to gather some herbs; in the garden he encounters Agi Morato and, then, Zoraida. Acceptable figures, but lacking certain naturalism. The setting (garden( has been resolved with a notable impressionist style. |
| Notes | 1 – After José Jiménez Aranda’s death, his brother, Luis Jiménez Aranda, continued illustrating Don Quixote (part I) following a very similar realistic/picturesque style as the one used by his brother, but, sometimes, his figures lack naturalism. |
