| Commentary | ".... she fell to the ground, her delicate feet being unable to bear the roughness of the stones".
Dorotea tries to run away when she discovers that the priest, the barber and Cardenio were observing her, but she falls to the ground. Remarkable figures with good gestures; Dorotea's figure is specially worth noting in this illustration. Jiménez Aranda's drawing skill is masterly; remarkable use of light and shadow with impressionist effects. |
