In the foreground, Dorotea (in man clothes) finishes bathing her feet. In the background, the priest, the barber and Cardenio hidden and observing her. Well-known scene. Jiménez Aranda's drawing skill is masterly; remarkable use of light and shadow with impressionist effects. |
