In Sierra Morena, Cardenio beating up the goatherd; Sancho and don Quixote lie already beaten and defeated on the ground. Remarkable figures, with good gestures and expressions; well-resolved action. Jiménez Aranda's drawing skill is masterly; remarkable use of light and shadow with impressionist effects. |
