	Commentary	"... suddenly through the door of the hall there will enter a hideous and diminutive dwarf.... or in whatever other way it may be,...". Continuation of the scenes described by don Quixote to Sancho about the deeds of a famous errant knight: a dwarf accompanied by a beautiful dueña and two giants enters into the room where the knight has dined with the king, queen and princess; the knight asks for the king's permission to leave to fight in a battle; the knight with the princess before leaving; the knight fighting; and the knight gets married with the princess. Remarkable illustration with carefully-done and well-resolved narrative composition. Excellent variety of figures and details. Jiménez Aranda's drawing skill is masterly; remarkable use of light and shadow with impressionist effects. See also the previous illustration.
	Notes	1 – Reproduction of the original sketch (Chinese ink and gouache white). Jiménez Aranda meant to paint a more-finished drawing after this sketch using natural sceneries and real models, but he died before completing the project.
