| Commentary | "... he then raised his shirt as well as he could and bared his hind quarters...".
At night in a forest, Sancho gets ready to relieve himself; being too scared, he remains next to don Quixote, mounted on Rocinante. The scene has been resolved without excessive crude humour. Jiménez Aranda's drawing skill is masterly; the illustration, resolved in almost complete darkness, is worth noting. |
