| Commentary | "... The sound cheered them greatly; but halting to make out by listening from what quarter it came...".
During the night in a forest, don Quixote and Sancho, looking for a brook, hear the sound of water. Notice the gestures of the figures. Jiménez Aranda's drawing skill is masterly; the scene, resolved in almost complete darkness, is worth noting. |
