	Commentary	"God bless me! said Sancho, did I not tell your worship to mind what you were about...". Don Quixote remains fallen onto the ground after having been hit by a windmill sail while Sancho reminds him his previous advice about the windmills. Great interest in representing real Spanish characters and accurate period clothes; realistic and picturesque. Jiménez Aranda's drawing skill is masterly; remarkable use of light and shadow with impressionist effects.
	Notes	1 – Reproduction of the original sketch (Chinese ink and gouache white). Jiménez Aranda meant to paint a more-finished drawing after this sketch using natural sceneries and real models, but he died before completing the project. 2 - "Lo que avalora esencialmente á todas ellas, lo mismo bocetos que dibujos del natural, es el espíritu con que viven y expresan la acción de los personajes de la novela; espíritu que suele revelarse por modo más espontáneo y vivo en los bocetos, y de aquí que haya quien los prefiera á los dibujos del natural.
