| Commentary | From the whole episode, it has been chosen a tender moment; don Quixote, shocked by Sancho's moans (pretended), stops him whipping himself.
Drawing and engraving are excellent; Sancho's half-naked figure is exceptional. Illustration of great quality. Light and shadow effects are very remarkable. |
| Notes | 1 - First representation of this episode. From now on, this scene will be habitual in 18th and 19th centuries editions. |
