Commentary | Zoraida, surprised with the captive by her father (Agi Morato), pretends to faint.
Zoraida and captive's group is of great beauty. Drawing and engraving are masterly. Not too much accurate setting; clothes and architectures do not look like Moorish; they are some kind of orientalist evocation. First representation of this episode. |
