Commentary | In don Antonio Moreno's house in Barcelona, Sancho asks to the enchanted head (as a Roman bust) if he will be a powerful king (according to the German translation); "¿Por ventura, cabeza, tendré otro gobierno?¿Saldré de la estrecheza de escudero?¿Volveré a ver a mi mujer y a mis hijos?" (62:2).
Around him, don Quixote, don Antonio Moreno, his wife and friends. Remarkable figures; good expressions and gestures. Notice the good effects of unfinished watercolor in the dress of don Antonio Moreno's wife. |
