| Commentary | Well-known scene since Bouttats (Amberes: Verdussen, 1672 - 1674).
One of the female friends of don Antonio Moreno's wife appears asking the enchanted head; meanwhile, don Antonio, his wife, don Quixote, Sancho and friends observe her. The most of the characters appear with their backs turned on the viewer, giving privacy to the scene. Excellent drawing and engraving; carefully done setting. |
