Commentary | Don Quixote, tied and "enchanted" into a cage, is taken out of the inn by enchanters (the priest, don Fernando, his companions, don Luis, his servants, the innkeeper... all disguised); Sancho witnesses the scene.
Carefully-drawn figures and setting, resolved with picturesque realism; notice the child playing into the large pitcher (tinaja) on the right. Good coloring too. |
