Commentary | In Cervantes' original text, this quote is said by several boys when Sancho and his donkey enter the village; however, the illustration looks like the moment when Sancho reunites with his wife, Teresa, and his children.
Tender scene. The donkey should wear the capirote and robe from Altisidora's episode. Good drawing and engraving. |
