Commentary | In Barataria Island, during the night round, Sancho discovers a girl, don Diego de la Llana's daughter, in man clothes.
Sancho is accompanied by the secretary, majordomo, head-carver and some soldiers. Excellent and accurate illustration; notice the light and sadow effects, the well-lit figure of the girl, her gesture of shame... Remarkable drawing and engraving. |
