Commentary Despite the title caption, the scene represents Alonso Quijano sane (his arms hung on the wall) talking to Sancho (grief-stricken), the priest, the barber, the bachelor Sansón Carrasco, the housekeeper and the niece.
Excellent drawing and engraving; remarkable image of don Quixote, carefully-etched (highlighted in white on a black background), and detailed and realistic setting.
