Commentary | After trying to attack the silk merchants, don Quixote is beaten by one of their grooms.
The scene is quite well-resolved; don Quixote and Rocinante fallen in the foreground, the groom moving towards him in the middle ground and the merchants observing them from the background (just sketched behind a dust cloud). |
