Commentary | Well-known scene; don Quixote attacks the flock of sheep while Sancho, gesticulating, tries to stop him.
Rocinante's movement has not been quite well resolved; it looks more like trotting than galloping. However, as a whole, Marstrand's drawing is very agile (see the figures of the shepherds, just sketched). |
