Commentary Don Quixote mounted on Rocinante, holding his lance and looking at Dulcinea´s bust; also Sancho with his donkey.
In the background, two sculptures (Roland and Amadis).
Drawing and engraving are quite remarkable, despite some light disproportions (notice Rocinante's head); fine burin lines.
Notes 1 - Copy after Clouzier/Harrewÿn´s frontis for Bruxelles: Guillaume Fricx, 1706; based on Savery´s frontis for Dordrech: Savery, 1657 (and later editions).
