Commentary | In the foreground, Sancho whipping the trunks of the trees while, in the background, don Quixote counts the lashes with his rosary.
Sancho should appear hidden among the trees; now, don Quixote can see him clearly whipping the trees. Good drawing and engraving; Sancho's figure is specially remarkable. |
