Commentary | Don Quixote asks the galley slaves about their crimes; also Sancho and three of the soldiers on horseback.
The figures of the galley slaves are quite remarkable; Doré has reproduced Spanish "tipos" sketched during his travel through Spain in 1861-62. Excellent drawing and engraving. |
