| Commentary | Don Quixote stands before a cart with a lion ready to fight against it, but the animal, although the lionkeeper has opened the cage, remains into it yawning.
Well-known scene; resolved with little novelty; however, good gestures and expressions. Remarkable and highly-detailed ornamental frame; it includes a laurel wreath, the flags of the cart, a shield with a lion, Ponce de León's portrait and swords. |
