Commentary | In the foreground, with a very marked engraving, Countess Trifaldi kneels before the Duke and the Duchess; don Quixote and Sancho observe them; Trifaldín (on the right) follows the Countess.
In the background, sketched, the retinue of "dueñas". Despite the small format of the illustration, drawing and engraving are very good. Deficient inking/printing (notice the reinue of "dueñas"). |
