Commentary | After the adventure with the "yangüeses", don Quixote, on Sancho's donkey, and the squire arrive to the inn and the innkeeper welcomes them.
His wife, his daughter and Maritornes also appear, but it would not be necessary. Illustration of small format, but with masterly drawing and engraving; well-detailed faces (innkeeper, Sancho...), good setting and gestures (innkeeper's wife). |
