Commentary Well-known scene; don Quixote, asleep and with a blanket around his arm, attacks the wineskins while the innkeeper catches his arm to stop him; the barber and the priest enter into the room.
Illustration with little novelty.
Figures without naturalism.
Notes It is not signed by any illustrator (maybe, P. Bedini or A. Berselli).
Copy after Francesco Novelli's plate XIII for Venice: Alvisopoli, 1818 (and 1819); Sancho and Dorotea(?)'s figures have been eliminated.
The night light effect has been copied badly.
Novelli copied it partially and simplified from Paris: Didot, 1799.
