Commentary | After hearing the answer of the enchanted head, Sancho gets angry and don Quixote shouts him: "Bestia [...], ¿qué quieres que te responda?" (62:2).
Sancho's gesture has been exaggerated. Don Antonio, his wife and friends observe the scene. Scene resolved with great austerity. The enchanted head as a Roman bust (accurate to Cervantes' text). Excellent drawing and engraving. |
