Commentary | Two galley slaves (or two other characters defeated by don Quixote) arrive to El Toboso to prostrate before Dulcinea and they find her carding flax.
Reference to the dialogue between don Quixote and Sancho about Dulcinea; by the first time, Sancho discovers that Dulcinea is Aldonza Lorenzo and he imagines this comical scene. Excellent engraving. |
