| Commentary | Micomicona (Dorotea) kneels down before don Quixote accompanied by the barber disguised as her squire.
Well-known scene and composition since Coypel (Paris: Surugue, 1724). Print with little novelty in content but with good drawing and engraving. Dorotea's beauty and detailed face are remarkable. Also Sancho (with suspicious looking). |
