Commentary | Excellent and theatrical composition.
Basilio, dying and held by a friend, Quiteria, taking Basilio's hand, and the priest who is marrying them form a perfect group. In the left, don Quixote, knelt down and solemn, and Camacho, standing up. In the right, Sancho and other figures. The whole setting has been resolved with one tree. Good lithography. |
