Commentary | Sevral elements alluding to don Quixote and his adventures: shield, gauntlet, barber basin (Manbrino's helmet), sword, lance, saddle, books...; also a jester scepter and and owl.
The jester scepter may allude to the Comedy genre used by Cervantes, but also remembers the bojiganga. The owl is used as a symbol of Chivalric novels. Good headpiece. |
